Prayer, Healing and You!
Practical help, right where we need it

WHY:             People around the world are looking for solutions to the problems we face that demand a new way of addressing challenging issues.

WHAT:          This Christian Science lecture will explore how healing is possible through the practical application of scientific prayer in our lives and includes experiences that show how people have put this prayer-based system of healing into practice in their own lives. The speaker will discuss the original sourcebook on Christian healing, the Bible, along with Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, a book of universal ideas on practical spirituality.

WHEN:          Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 7:30 PM

WHERE:          Southridge High School Auditorium
9625 SW 125th Ave., Beaverton, Oregon

WHO:             John Adams, C.S.B., is a national speaker and practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing. Adams moved to New York City from the Midwest to pursue an acting career, studying with Lee Strasberg and Herbert Berghoff. He was healed of a serious drug habit through his study of Science and Health. This healing changed his life. Raising a family, he owned nine flower stores in New York City. He sold the businesses, and in 1985 took up the full-time work as a practitioner of Christian Science healing. Now a teacher of Christian Science, Adams speaks on the power of prayer to heal as a member of the Christian Science Board of Lecturship.
